Angel Spotting

I am Karen Lohnes. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but I have lived in Basin, Wyoming for most of my life. I was raised as a Catholic, converted to atheism, and now I don’t know where I stand. I am unsure about the existence of God, but I strongly believe in angels, as I have seen and spoken to many throughout my life.

This site is dedicated to finding angels in the world. I have never met an angel who was hiding the fact that he was not a mortal, but they do not outright to out and tell everybody, and I do not blame them. Society has a hard time accepting anything that is difficult to believe.

My first encounter with an angel was when I was four years old. I was riding my bike  in a nearby forest. My tire popped, and I was walking back home. Along the way, I tripped and fell down a steep hill.  At the bottom of the hill was a cliff with a fifty foot drop. I was hanging onto the edge of that cliff for dear life, when I felt somebody grab me from behind. I looked back and saw an elderly man with giant wings sprouting out from his back. He lifted me up and placed me back at the top of the hill. He said that he was my guardian angel, and that he will always be looking out for me.

After that, I lost consciousness. When I woke back up many hours later, I found that my tire was fixed as if nothing had happened, and I rode back home.

I have had many more encounters with angels, but none have been as intimate as that one. They are out there, watching us, and protecting us. Do not be afraid if you spot one. Reach out. Speak to them. They are not like us. They are immortal, and will always have a great story to tell you.
